Wet Hot Emerican Summer

Words & Photography by Paige McBride

Timebomb Distribution recently had the pleasure of hosting the Emerica and RVCA Canada team across Western Canada, and what a Wet Hot Emerican Summer it was indeed. I had the opportunity to catch up with the boys in Vancouver and Squamish; accompanied by my dear friend, Leica Mini II.

What better way to welcome a team of legends to Vancouver than host a barbecue (thank you DJ Science) at a haunted mansion? The night consisted of cee-lo, beer, food, cee-lo, beer, B.C. budz, more cee-lo and quick trip downtown for the kids who weren't quite ready for bedtime.

After a few days of street skating in Vancouver and a most memorable demo at Plaza, it was time to head to Squamish. It was another mind-blowing demo at the park followed by barbecue number two (thank you Stunrrwood Mike) to wrap up their final night in Canada. This casual “backyard barbecue” was a paradise of a axe throwing, a mini ramp, dogs, beer, food, and Alexis the one-man-band serenading everyone into the night.

A special shout to Tyler Holm, GMAN, Jacinta Shaw and the rest of the Timebomb Fam for helping make this tour come to life.
